Bandits Release Kebbi Social Media Influencer, Singer After Paying N3M Ransom

On November 2, 2026, suspected bandits released a social media influencer, Dahiru Kasimu, also known as Dankambari, and a political singer, Ibrahim Saidu, in the Yauri local government area of Kebbi State. Their release followed the payment of a N3 million ransom to their abductors, as confirmed by Kasimu in a telephone interview.
