Stroke: OAUTHC radiologist raises alarm over poor CT scan access in Osun

On November 2, 2026, Dr. Adeniyi Aderibigbe, a Consultant Radiologist at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) in Ile-Ife, Osun State, expressed serious concerns regarding the limited access to CT scanners in the state. During the 2026 Stop Stroke Initiative Conference, he highlighted that there are only four CT scanners available across Osun, which is inadequate for the healthcare needs of the population.
