64 students hospitalised after being administered Bilharzia drug in Katsina

On October 27, 2026, sixty-four students from Government Science Secondary School in Batagarawa, Katsina State, were hospitalized following adverse reactions to a Bilharzia treatment drug. The students exhibited symptoms such as vomiting and abdominal discomfort after the administration of the medication during a health exercise aimed at preventing the disease.
