Customs seize N5.8m unregistered drugs, hand over to NAFDAC in Sokoto

On October 28, 2026, the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Sokoto/Zamfara Area Command seized unregistered pharmaceutical products valued at ₦5,804,062.06 along the Illela-Sokoto Road in Sokoto State. The seized items included anti-cold drugs, amodiaquine, paracetamol, and quinine, which were intercepted during a routine operation.
