FG raises concern over antibiotic-related deaths, warns of drug resistance

The Federal Government of Nigeria has raised concerns about antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and its impact on public health, citing an estimated 64,500 deaths in 2019. This announcement was made by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Pate, during a press conference in Abuja.
