Hand-washing key to preventing NTDs —Sightsavers

On October 30, 2026, the celebration of Global Handwashing Day took place at Bubuche Village in Augie Local Government Area, Kebbi State. The event was organized by the state Ministry of Health in collaboration with Sightsavers, a non-governmental organization focused on health issues.
