On October 28, 2026, the Kaduna State Government held a close-out ceremony to discuss strategies for addressing healthcare workforce shortages in the state. The event was attended by various stakeholders, including the Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, who emphasized the importance of enhancing the capacity of frontline health workers to deliver essential maternal, newborn, and child healthcare services through Task Shifting and Task Sharing (TSTS).
