LAUTECH hospital resident doctors suspend 50-day strike

The Association of Resident Doctors at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has announced the suspension of their 50-day strike. This decision was made following the intervention of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and will take effect on Saturday, October 17, 2026, allowing doctors to resume full clinical duties for an initial period of eight weeks.
