Military arrests two over attack on vigilantes, burning of Jos office

On October 27, 2026, at approximately 1:40 a.m., troops from Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) arrested two suspects in the NEPA area of Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State. The arrests were made in connection with an attack on members of a vigilante group and the subsequent burning of their office.
