NAFDAC Arraigns Traders Over Alleged Fake Liquor, Unwholesome Vegetable Oil

On October 23, 2026, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) arraigned two traders in the Federal High Court located in Lagos, Nigeria. The traders, Ifeanyi Jasper, aged 54, and Uchenna Ekezie, aged 48, faced charges related to the importation and distribution of unwholesome vegetable oil, as well as the manufacturing and sale of counterfeit alcoholic beverages.
