NAFDAC uncovers ₦200m fake labels, corks, packs in Aba market

On October 15, 2026, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) conducted an enforcement operation at Old Court Road Market in Aba, Abia State. During this operation, NAFDAC seized counterfeit packaging materials valued at over ₦200 million from five shops, targeting the alleged production of fake alcoholic drinks and other regulated products.
