They wanted millions: NYSC-bound traveller recounts kidnap ordeal

Ibi Philip, a prospective National Youth Service Corps member, and 11 other travellers were kidnapped in Edo State and held in a forest in Kogi State for over a week. The kidnappers initially demanded a ransom of N50 million, which was later reduced to N30 million and N20 million.
