Yobe Provides Over 800 Free Dialysis Sessions Monthly For Kidney Patients

The Yobe State government is offering over 800 free dialysis sessions each month for patients suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD) at the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital (YSUTH). This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden faced by patients in accessing necessary specialized treatment. The announcement was made by Prof. Baba Waru Goni, the chief medical director of YSUTH, on Wednesday, October 16, 2026.
